About NSIA
The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (‘NSIA’ or ‘the Authority’) is an investment institution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, established by the Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Act (2011) to receive, invest and manage a diversified portfolio of medium and long-term investments on behalf of the Nigerian government.
NSIA executes its mandate through three core funds: the Stabilisation Fund (SF), which provides stabilisation support in times of economic distress; the Future Generations Fund (FGF) which is a long-term savings fund for future generations of Nigerians and the Nigeria Infrastructure Fund (NIF), which is leveraged to expand the stock of critical domestic infrastructure.
With a strong governance framework and a commitment to transparency, NSIA adheres to international best practices in asset management and investment strategy. The Authority plays a pivotal role in advancing Nigeria’s economic development, fostering strategic partnerships, and mobilising capital for high-impact projects across key sectors.
